Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation ("MCC") (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Ryuichi Tomizawa) resolved at the meeting of its Board of Directors held today to relocate its head office.

*Daini Tamachi Building will be named as "Mitsubishi Chemical Building" by leasing the entire building. |

Schedule for relocation: |

*Just after the completion of Daini Tamachi Building scheduled for October 2006, MCC will move in.

Further reinforcement of functions as a center of the Group management by moving in the same building with the holding company* and Group companies.
*Refer to "Establishment of Holding Company" separately announced on April 26, 2005.

Realization of flexible office layouts such as arranging showrooms by leasing the entire building.

Realization of new office environment in the new building with almost the same present lease terms. |
