Separator for Lithium-ion Battery

“SEPALENT™”

SEPALENT™, separators for lithium-ion batteries, are polypropylene (PP) micro-porous membranes. The three-dimensional micro-pore structure of SEPALENT™ improves safety, output, and lifetime of lithium-ion batteries.

Separator for Lithium-ion Battery “SEPALENT™” Characteristics

■ About Separator for Lithium-ion Battery “SEPALENT™”

SEPALENT™, separators for lithium-ion batteries, are unique micro-porous membrane separators with controlled, three-dimensional network of micro-pore structure by proprietary crystallization technologies and dry type bi-axial stretching processes. There are two types of SEPALENT™ products: a mono-layer membrane and a tri-layer membrane that includes a shutdown layer.

 

■ Separator for Lithium-ion Battery “SEPALENT™” Characteristics

The three-dimensional network of micro-pore of SEPALENT™ provides superior battery performance compared to other conventional separators.

The three-dimensional network of micro-pore contributes to the increased output.

The heat-resistant layer provides improved safety.

(3) High Durability
The three-dimensional network of micro-pore effectively holds the formulated electrolyte and improves the battery lifetime.
