The Food Ingredients Dept. collaborates with Mitsubishi-Kagaku Foods Corporation in food ingredient and food additive industry. Our product line was originally comprised of emulsifiers and mixing agents, and was later expanded to include a wide range of products, such as our popular Ryoto™ Sugar Ester, a non-ionic surfactant, and Ryoto™ Ester SP, a foaming agent for confectioners. Today, our product line includes sweeteners, natural food colorants, lactic acid bacteria, and enzymes and other food ingredients specially developed to meet the diversified needs of the market. A list of our products is available below, and details of each product can be found at the Mitsubishi-Kagaku Foods Corp. website. ■ Lactic acid bacteria “LACRIS™-S” Stable in heat and acid, LACRIS™-S is a spore forming lactic acid bacteria that can be used in various processed foods. ■ Anti-bacterial food preserver “Wasaouro™” Wasaouro™ contains allylisothiocyanate extracted from wasabi and has anti-bacterial property that prevents mold and bacterial growth on food items and helps to keep food fresh. ■ Enzyme preparations We provide a variety of enzymes including Amylase, Cellulase, Hemicellulase, Pectinase, Xylanase, Invertase, Protease, Papain, Phospholipase A1, Tannase, and Dextrase. ■ Emulsifier “RYOTO™ Sugar Ester” Plant based emulsifier “RYOTO™ Sugar Ester” and “RYOTO™ Polyglycerol Ester” are available. We also supply emulsifier preparations in proportions according to your needs. ■ Sweetener “Erythritol” etc Non-calorie natural sweetener “Erythritol” and low-calorie sweetener “Oligotose” are available. ■ Coloring Natural food colorants are available for red (red cabbage etc), orange (paprika), brown (cacao etc), blue (gardenia etc), green (chlorophyll etc), and yellow (safflower etc).
