Therefore, we put first priority on utilizing those patents for business purposes of our own company as well as each group company. But we grant license of our patents to other companies if such licensing is beneficial for our business strategy. Our licensing activities has posted high earnings for years running since the establishment of Mitsubishi Chemical, and the cumulative revenue from technology licensing during the past 12 fiscal years has reached over 100 billion yen. |
